Managing your academy
Approving coaches, athletes, parents and children, reading your member list, and adding more academies.
Once your verification application is approved, your academy exists and is searchable. This is what you do with it.
Your academy page
Open your academy from the profile menu. Everyone sees the Overview; the rest of the tabs depend on who you are.
- Overview — address, parent organisation, and who runs it. This is what the public sees.
- Schedule — the weekly training grid. Visible to every approved member, editable by you and your managers. See Teams and training schedules.
- Teams — squads and rosters. You and your managers.
- Requests — coaches, athletes, parents and children waiting for your decision. Owner only.
- Members — everyone currently approved, and the role they hold. Owner only.
- Messages — announcements to your families. You and your managers.
Approving coaches and athletes
Every request shows the person's name, email, the role they asked for, and when they asked.
Declining is not final. The person can ask again, and you will see their earlier request rather than a fresh one.
Approving parents
A parent request is a relationship with a family, not a claim to coach or compete. Approving one is what lets that parent enrol their children with you — until you do, they cannot add a single child to your academy.
So the order is: approve the parent first, then approve each of their children as those requests arrive.
Approving children
A child's request is marked with a Child profile badge and shows the parent who asked, with their email, because the child has no account of their own.
Children appear in the Members tab alongside adult accounts, labelled with the parent who manages them.
The owner is a member too
You are automatically an approved member of your own academy with the owner role, from the moment it is created. This means the member list always reflects everyone associated with the academy, with no special case for you.
Parent organisations
If your academy is part of a larger group, you can name that organisation on your application. Academies under the same organisation are grouped together.
Naming an organisation that already exists links you to it rather than creating a duplicate — matching is case-insensitive, so "Elite All-Stars International" and "elite all-stars international" resolve to the same group.
Opening a second academy
Each academy is verified on its own. Start another application from your profile — the process is identical, and your existing academy is unaffected while the new one is reviewed.
What is coming
Team management, entering routines into competitions, and viewing your academy's results are all planned. Right now the academy record, its membership, and approvals are what exist.
